Triggers is an acceleration program for environmental projects at Casa do Impacto. The second edition started with a face-to-face Bootcamp at Casa do Impacto, with the participation of 21 projects and more than 35 entrepreneurs who competed for a place in the next phase of the program.
The new edition of the program is for the first time supported by a municipal unit – Cascais City Council, a partnership that allows entrepreneurs to test and explore solutions in loco. This program is also supported by corporate partners such as the Ageas Portugal Group, Upcoming Energies by GALP, EDP, and the support of 3xP Global.
After 2 days of intense work to prepare for the pitch session, the 21 projects presented their solutions to a group of judges composed of Inês Sequeira, Director of Casa do Impacto, Katrien Buys, Director of Strategy, Innovation & Sustainability at Grupo Ageas Portugal, Joana Larsen, Open Innovation Lead at Galp and Inês Vasconcelos Proença, Advisor to the Environment and Citizenship Councilor at CM Cascais, who selected the 10 teams that will travel in this acceleration program.
The jury’s task was not easy, but the 10 solutions that advance to the acceleration phase are:
- > Windcredible
- > Venn Foods
- > bam•bu bicycles
- > Ecossistema Carbono Biodiverso
- > Generosa
- > R-Coat
- > Biomimicry Portugal
- > Water consumption control
- > UGlowDifferent
- > Environmental ARTivism
Welcome to the community! On April 3rd, the acceleration phase will begin, which will end on June 5th, when we will discover the 3 finalist teams, in a DemoDay open to the public at Casa do Impacto.
