Every year, between October and November, we can expect the Entrepreneurship Awards to take place, bringing together Founders, Investors, Organizations, Companies, and Leaders of the Ecosystem in a gathering that celebrates Innovation in all its forms.
As the years pass, the categories fill in the gaps and meet the needs of the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem. Three years ago, Impact arrived to stay with the “Most Impactful Startup Award” and, this year, the “Rising Female Award” and the “International Personality Award” took their rightful places, highlighting Personalities who bring dynamism and attention to the best that is done in our country in the Innovation Sector.
For the third time, we sponsored the Impact category and continue to believe in its ability to “infiltrate” everything around it. We believe that all Projects, Startups, and Entrepreneurs can integrate Sustainability into their Missions and ideals, and those who already do so can demonstrate how, in a practical and inspiring way.
The range of Finalists in our category always has this ability, which is why the decision to choose a single winner is never easy. This year, Knokcare, LoopOS, and ubbu were the representatives of Impact, but it was ubbu that received the ultimate recognition as the Startup with the most Impact made in the last year.
But it wasn’t just this category that made an Impact! It’s impossible not to notice how Impact has been taking up more and more space and rising to stages that go far beyond that. During the ceremony, many familiar faces were recognized for their innovative work, which transcends profit and focuses on a more just, representative, inclusive, and sustainable future. Three of the projects we received in the latest edition of the RISE for Impact training program took the stage in different categories. While Usawa Care took home the “eAwards Portugal 2025,” Lampsy Health won the “Most Promising Startup Award,” and GreenDash was one of the finalists for the “Youth Startup Award.” We know these Entrepreneurs and their projects very well; we know how passionate they are about their solutions, and we are confident that great things are yet to come from their hands.
It is impossible to deny that Impact is becoming increasingly important. We all see it, feel it, and celebrate it together with the Partners who recognize it.
