Casa do Impacto once again partnered with Unicorn Factory Lisboa for another edition of the Entrepreneurship Awards, the ceremony that promotes the Portuguese Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and applauds the achievements of Startups and Entrepreneurs. Once more, we had the privilege and responsibility of sponsoring the “Most Impactful Startup Award,” celebrating the Startup with the greatest growth and Social or Environmental Impact over the past year.

We live alongside many impactful Startups and know countless others, so we fully understand the immense potential the Impact Ecosystem holds within the broader universe of Entrepreneurship. When Bandora, Goparity, and MicroHarvest took the stage, they represented not just themselves but all Entrepreneurs who believe their work can make a positive difference in Society through Sustainability and help create a better world for everyone. These platforms give us crucial opportunities to showcase that Impact is alive, thriving, and recommended. Who knows, in the future, perhaps every Entrepreneurship project will care about the future too.

The winner of this second edition of the “Most Impactful Startup Award” had some big shoes to fill, following in the footsteps of Actif, the previous winner. Goparity proved they were ready to make history alongside the first edition’s champion. Congratulations, Goparity!

Although only three Startups made it to the stage, many went through the selection process thanks to numerous nominations and applications we received. It remains highly encouraging to see the Ecosystem come together to nominate and celebrate peers and friends, where camaraderie and synergy always take center stage. We truly believe that when Impact wins, we all win.

We must also give a special mention to Windcredible, an Impact Startup that was chosen as one of the ten contenders for the “Most Promising Startup Award.” Windcredible is part of our Community and was a finalist in the Triggers program—we know firsthand just how promising their future is, and we continue to believe in their potential.

The event was also the perfect occasion to announce the three finalists for each category of the Lisbon Innovation for All program, led by Unicorn Factory and the Lisbon City Council, which has been empowering Startups to solve the city’s social challenges. We were proud to see ubbu in the “Quality of Education” category, and Class of Wonders and Equivalence in the “Integration of Migrants” category, take the stage. We are eager to see what comes next!

Finally, we want to thank Unicorn Factory Lisboa for continuing to celebrate Entrepreneurship and recognizing the best of what’s being done in Portugal. Thank you for always remembering that Impact is a vital part of this journey and for giving it the stage it deserves in so many ways.
