Applications are open for Triggers, Casa Impacto’s acceleration program, which supports teams that show motivation and know-how for impact entrepreneurship focused on environmental sustainability. The application phase runs until March 5.

Triggers were designed to challenge anyone with environmental concerns and an entrepreneurial mindset. For this 2nd edition of the program, we again have the partners UpComing Energies Powered by GALP, Grupo Ageas Portugal and 3XP Global. This year, Cascais City Council joins this group of partners. Together with Casa do Impacto, the four are ready to support entrepreneurs and environmental activists!

Reconciling the social mission of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa with the growing environmental emergency, Triggers focuses on finding solutions that combine climate justice and social justice. Our planet is out of balance due to the ecological crisis. In this program, we will bring together disruptive minds to find solutions based on sustainable business models that combine social and climate justice. With Triggers, we will leverage startups and projects with prizes that allow their initial growth.

The three finalists of the program will have access to mentoring and incubation space at Casa do Impacto; a prize of 1650 euros for participation in conferences in the area of interest, opportunities to present the MVPs to potential investors, and also, 15,000.00 euros for the big winner, 10,000.00 euros for the runner-up and 5,000.00 euros € euros (five thousand euros) for the third place.

We look forward to meeting the ten startups participating in this 2nd edition. But, until then, in this House, we will continue to work with motivation to remain the House, par excellence, of ideas and solutions that face our time’s social challenges and environments.
