Casa do Impacto is, once again, one of the organizations invited to take part in the nomination process for The Earthshot Prize. Discover everything here.
The search for The Earthshot Prize winners has begun, and Casa does Impacto is proud to be an Official Nominator. Launched in 2020 by Prince William and The Royal Foundation, The Earthshot Prize is the most prestigious global environmental award in history, aiming to find new solutions to the world’s biggest environmental problems.
As the Official Nominator, Casa do Impacto is part of a group of organizations from around the world invited to submit nominations for the five categories of the award. The Portuguese hub was invited for its ability to identify the most impactful solutions in all areas and sectors and for being a convergence space for numerous public and private entities.
Until the 20th of January, Casa do Impacto will have an OPEN CALL open to find the best solutions to nominate. We are looking for individuals, communities, companies and organizations whose innovative solutions will advance the achievement of the five Earthshots – formulated but ambitious categories that, if achieved by 2030, will improve the lives of all of us and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come.

- Fix our climate

With the closure of the OPEN CALL on January 20th, Casa do Impacto will select the solutions to be nominated and send the nominations through official channels. From then on, the answers will go through a rigorous evaluation process by the award’s organization, culminating in the selection of the five winners in the last quarter of the year.
Through this process, both finalists and winners get a fantastic platform to expand their work and personalized support from The Earthshot Prize and its network of NGOs, businesses, governments, funders and expert mentors. The five winners also receive a £1 million prize to scale their impact.
